Quality and environmental management

As an environmentally conscious company, the use of high-quality materials is a matter of course for us in order to guarantee a long product life. From the way our employees work to the careful use of resources - sustainability is one of FSM's basic principles.

Within the framework of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, we have a quality and environmental management system for the development, manufacture, testing and sale of battery management systems, measurement technology and transformer starting switches. We define ourselves by our high quality, which sets us apart from our competitors.

For us, quality means:

FSM AG is a manufacturer and distributor of products that are products in the sense of chemical law. We purchase these products mainly from European suppliers, in individual cases also from non-European suppliers. In accordance with the REACH regulation, we are therefore not subject to any registration obligations. This applies in particular because no chemical substances are released from our products under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use (see Article 7 (1) of the REACH Regulation).

It should be noted that the products you purchase from us are not subject to registration as articles within the meaning of the REACH Regulation. 

Consequently, any chemical substances contained in our products that may be subject to registration must be registered exclusively by our upstream suppliers.

We are in close contact with the suppliers of relevant products that are processed in our articles and are informed in accordance with REACH Regulation Art. 33 whether listed SVHC substances above 0.1% by mass are contained. In addition, we will inform you immediately in accordance with REACH Regulation Art. 33 if ingredients of our products (from a content of > 0.1% by mass) are classified as substances of very high concern by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). 

From today's perspective and based on the information provided by our suppliers, it is not to be expected that our products contain SVHC substances in a mass concentration of more than 0.1 percent.
